Eighty thousand passengers, including arrivals and departures, are expected to handle Easter traffic at Cagliari Airport . Approximately 100,000 seats are available until April 6th for over 530 aircraft movements.
Meanwhile, the first positive results are coming in regarding traffic data for the first few months of the year: from January 1st to March 31st, 2026, Elmas Airport welcomed over 825,000 passengers , including arrivals and departures, a 3.4% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Over the same period, international passengers recorded an 11.4% increase. As for the domestic market, over 690,000 passengers passed through.
The summer season officially opened on Sunday 29 March: the schedule for Summer 2026 includes 109 connections to 26 countries , 68 international and 41 domestic routes, 12 new scheduled connections, 31 airlines operating at the airport, over 5 million seats on sale (+11% compared to 2025).
Twelve new scheduled routes: to Bordeaux and Nice (easyJet), Alghero, Olbia, Bologna, Cuneo, Florence, Lamezia Terme and Pisa (Aeroitalia), Forlì (Ryanair), Salzburg (Eurowings) and Tel Aviv (El Al in partnership with Sun d'Or).
