A road accident occurred this afternoon on state highway 554 in Cagliari, at kilometer 1,800, heading towards Quartu.

The crash occurred near the Civil Motorization Office. A motorcycle was involved, carrying a man and a woman. Initial reports suggest it was a single-vehicle accident. The two were treated and taken to the hospital with yellow code injuries.

Anas teams and law enforcement officers were on site to conduct legal investigations. The road, closed to traffic, reopened later that evening.
