An accident occurred in the early afternoon on Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Cagliari. A 47-year-old worker sustained a head injury while working on the facade of a building.

The man was rescued by emergency medical services and taken to the hospital with a red code for head injuries. His condition is not serious. Carabinieri from the Pirri station arrived on the scene and have begun an investigation to reconstruct the accident.

It's still unclear whether the man was struck by a crane hook or fell after being hit by a work vehicle. Initial reports suggest the worker wasn't wearing a helmet, resulting in his head injuries. Officers interviewed several witnesses.
