Cagliari, a sea of plastic in Sant'Elia: the tragedy of pollution is a stone's throw from the dam

The show is indecent, between plastics of all kinds and waste of various kinds. We are in Cagliari , in a body of water inserted between the Nervi pavilion, the breakwater and the small beach of Sant'Elia.

The shots document a situation tending towards an emergency, with the accumulation of rubbish often thrown into the sea from boats .

The current pushes the plastic towards the mainland, where the deposit is concentrated. A harmful accumulation not only for the landscape, but also and above all for the many species that live in the water.
