A scooter and a bus collided in Piazza Giovanni XXIII in Cagliari. The two young people on board the two-wheeler were injured, particularly the driver.

The boy was transported in red code to Brotzu by one of the 118 ambulances that responded to the scene.

The other passenger, however, was taken to the Policlinico Hospital under a code orange. Local police officers also arrived in Piazza Giovanni to investigate and reconstruct the accident.

According to an initial reconstruction, the two young men on the scooter attempted to pass between the CTM and a double-parked car. The driver opened the door at that moment. The impact was unavoidable for the scooter, which then crashed into the bus.
