Cagliari: A large tree collapses on Via Scirocco, leaving a woman hospitalized.

A tree collapsed on Via Scirocco in the Sole district of Cagliari, near Viale Poetto.

Two cars were hit: one of them contained a woman, who was transferred to the Santissima Trinità hospital with a yellow code for checks.

A rapid response team from the Cagliari Fire Brigade Operations Center arrived on the scene, cordoned off the area , cut down the tree, and secured the road. The Cagliari Local Police also intervened to manage traffic.

The road is temporarily closed to pedestrians and vehicles to allow for all operations.
