The Cagliari Fire Brigade worked tirelessly between Saturday night and Sunday, responding to a large fire in Viale Monastir that involved nine parked vehicles in the forecourt of a company that rents out aerial platforms.
Numerous reports reached the Command's operations room, which dispatched several teams to the scene around 2:30 a.m. The State Police also took action.

The 115 emergency services took about two hours to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading to other vehicles and an adjacent warehouse.
The area was then secured and an investigation was launched to determine the origin of the flames. The damage was extensive, but no injuries were reported.
