A 48-year-old man died during the night after being rescued by 118 personnel and rushed to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari.

He is a citizen of Senegalese origin, found seriously injured in the head in Piazza del Carmine.

After the alarm, the 48-year-old was rushed to the emergency room, but doctors' attempts to save his life were in vain.

The Flying Squad and the Flying Squad are investigating the incident.

According to an initial hypothesis, it should not have been an assault, but rather a fatal fall, perhaps following illness or the consequences of alcohol or drug use.
