Another pedestrian hit in Cagliari. Around 7:30 pm the driver of a car hit a woman who was crossing the street on Viale Sant'Avendrace .

The 35-year-old, after the impact, ended up on the ground. The young man who was driving immediately called for help. The woman was conscious but hit her head and suffered other injuries. The 118 staff urgently accompanied her to Brotzu and assigned a red code. Her conditions are serious but her life is not in danger.

The accident occurred on the stretch of road in front of the Viper Cave. Local police officers were on site to carry out surveys and all the checks. According to an initial reconstruction, the impact could have occurred on the pedestrian crossing . The driver of the car noticed the woman at the last moment and tried to swerve. The maneuver was useless. The 35-year-old fell onto the asphalt after the impact. She never lost consciousness but she hit her head, suffering a head injury and other injuries .

Once she arrived at the hospital, she underwent several tests to assess the severity of her injuries.
