Not just diving and sunbathing. At Mal di Ventre Island there will soon be end-of-season cleaning .

With the "Let's Clean Up the Island" event on September 8, the Sinis 2024 ecological days organized by the Municipality of Cabras and the Sinis Marine Protected Area are back.

This is the most anticipated event on the calendar, during which participants will have the opportunity to spend a Sunday dedicated to environmental protection and volunteering , which is essential to restore the state of the places and ensure that the coast of the island maintains its splendor.

The ecological days began on March 23 and for the first time included a stop in Piazza Stagno . In April, the volunteers had cleaned the beaches of Maimoni and S'Archeddu 'e sa canna and in May those of Corrighias and Is Arutas , collecting a total of about 800 kilos of rubbish.

To participate in the cleaning day of the Mal di Ventre Island you need to register . All the information is available on the institutional website of the Municipality. You have until September 5th.

All registered participants will then be contacted by the organization and will receive information on how to get to the Island by boat. There are 120 places available.
