This time, let's dance. The power of Irish dance, the sound of traditional instruments, and the energy of live music meet the ancient landscape of Tharros. Tomorrow, Friday, August 7th, at 10:00 PM, the archaeological area's theater will host "Rhythm of the Dance," a performance by the National Dance Company of Ireland, part of the fourth edition of "The Giants of Art."

World and Irish champion dancers, musicians, and live singers will take turns performing on stage, bringing together the roots of Irish culture with contemporary choreography and cutting-edge stage technology. The two-hour show will take the audience on a journey through the eras, rhythms, and traditions of the Emerald Isle, featuring high-speed moves, folk sounds, and captivating ensemble performances.

Born in 1998 and initially conceived for a three-week tour of the United States, Rhythm of the Dance has become one of the most internationally renowned Irish dance performances. Over the course of its long history, it has reached over seven million spectators in fifty countries, continually innovating its music, choreography, and stage design without sacrificing the authenticity of its tradition.

The Tharros Theatre will offer a particularly evocative setting for a show built on the continuous dialogue between dance and music: the fast-paced rhythm of the steps, the soloists' performances, and the live band will transform the stage overlooking the sea into a meeting of Irish culture and the archaeological and landscape heritage of the Sinis.
