A Flight from the Road to the Paddy Field . Due to a sudden illness, perhaps caused by the heat, at the end of the morning an agent of the local police of Cabras was involved in a road accident that took place on the outskirts of the town, exactly in the roundabout that leads from the lagoon village to both the seaside village of Torre Grande and towards the Sinis coast.

The traffic warden was traveling the road towards Cabras when at one point she ended up in the ditch with the service Fiat 16 . The car skidded and went off the road. The airbags also exploded. Motorists driving behind the police car immediately stopped to call for help.

Colleagues from the local Cabras police force also intervened on the spot, including the commander Barbara Poddi. For investigations , the traffic warden was transported to the San Martino hospital in Oristano , the car instead suffered several damages.

The woman was recently hired by the Municipality of Cabras for the summer season.
