The discovery was made just meters from the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, in a narrow, dark alley. Antonella Corrias, who lives in the area, found the bottle while walking her dog. "I was speechless," she said. "Knowing that just a few meters from my house there are kids at risk of serious harm is shocking. Moreover, it was abandoned on the street by someone who used it without thinking that others could come into contact with it."

The bottle in question is a sort of improvised pipe. The substance is placed on the foil over the opening, and the side of the bottle is pierced. The body of a pen is then inserted into the hole to inhale the harmful chemical fumes, which, if inhaled, can cause serious harm. To alert families and save these children, Antonella Corrias decided to post the photo on social media : "I want to help parents who know their children spend hours in that area," she explains. "If they intervene in time, perhaps the worst can be avoided. This time, it's not just a prank like when our front door was kicked in, but a very dangerous incident. I urge law enforcement and city officials to take action."

Cabras Mayor Andrea Abis : "Drug use is a well-known problem in our town, unfortunately. But so is the prevention project we're running in middle schools, for example. It's the only way we have to raise awareness of the dangers of these substances, to educate people. But the work carried out by the Carabinieri at the local station is also well-known. There are numerous reports against various individuals, and we're not just talking about minors."
