By train from the airport to Cagliari, night trains arrive

Starting tomorrow, the rail connection between Cagliari station and the "Mario Mameli" airport will be improved thanks to the activation of two new pairs of evening trains on Trenitalia's regional line, designed to ensure better coverage during the time slots of the last flights arriving and departing from the airport.
From Cagliari to the airport, the first new departure will be at 11:00 PM, arriving in Elmas at 11:13 PM; the second departure is at 11:46 PM, arriving at 11:59 PM. From the airport to Cagliari , the first departure is at 11:23 PM, arriving in Cagliari at 11:36 PM; the second departure is at 12:12 AM, arriving in Cagliari at 12:25 AM.
«It is a concrete intervention that responds to a request that has been expressed to us several times by users» declares the regional transport councillor Barbara Manca «with these new routes we are filling an important gap in the evening connections between Cagliari and the main airport in Sardinia, offering a more efficient solution to those who travel and those who work at the airport».
