A car crashed into a rock last night on the provincial road in Burcei . "We almost had another tragedy last night on the road from Burcei to Campuomu on the old Eastern Highway. A car with a young couple inside crashed into a rock that had fallen from the hillside . Fortunately, the two were unharmed, thanks in part to the driver's quick reflexes, who partially avoided the impact. The car still suffered serious damage. It was also difficult to call for help because there was no phone signal in several parts of the road." Mayor Marcello Malloru reported the incident.

"Along the SP 21, in the locality of Is Arangius, a couple of our fellow citizens," Malloru explained, "violently impacted a boulder in the middle of the road, on a curve, while traveling toward Cagliari. Only the driver's prompt response prevented the worst. The car sustained extensive damage, but fortunately, they were unharmed. But luck alone isn't enough. We will send yet another reminder to the Metropolitan City of Cagliari to request immediate intervention to secure the SP 21. We demand urgent checks on the edges and the removal of the unstable rocks ."

"The most serious thing," the mayor continued, "is that even in this case it wasn't possible to call for help. They had to wait for the first passing motorist. All because of the lack of cell phone signal. This road is a trap. And digital isolation makes it even more dangerous. As mayor, I won't stand by and watch. I will demand answers."
