The new Bultei padel court, the first sports facility of its kind in Goceano, was damaged as it awaited its inauguration. However, before the ribbon could even be cut, someone had the audacity to vandalize the wall, shattering an entire window after being hit by a large stone found on site.

Disappointment and anger were expressed by Mayor Daniele Arca. "I understand the pranks and the commotion caused by one drink too many," he commented, "but is it possible that common sense could be completely lacking in protecting a public asset, one that's also intended for young people? "

The city administration had received significant funding to build a new sports center, including a new padel court. "It's certainly not good publicity for our town, but we believe it's right to make this public so that those who committed the crime, or those who know about it, can seriously consider the gravity of their actions and thus be able to redeem themselves with equally meaningful actions," Mayor Arca added.

The city administration has already taken steps to report the vandalism to the relevant authorities and take measures to prevent similar acts of vandalism from happening again. "For those who haven't figured it out," the mayor concludes, "Padel is played with a racket and ball."
