Brotzu workers, the "least paid in Sardinia": sit-ins by CGIL, CISL and UIL

«The critical issues that afflict Brotzu workers on a daily basis are not slowing down but, on the contrary, are increasingly intensifying». Thus Cgil, Cisl and Uil who this morning in front of the entrance to the hospital in via Peretti organized a sit-in to ask - once again - the company to equalize the salaries of the "lowest paid workers in Sardinia to date", the stabilization of temporary workers, the hiring of missing staff and last but not least transparent decentralized bargaining.

«We are returning from a hypothetical “decentralized bargaining” conducted at full speed, with continuous inadmissible “forcing”, the legitimacy of which remains to be verified, based on the legislative provisions envisaged regarding contractual trade union rights to protect workers», they explain Carlo Marras Cigl , Massimo Cinus of the Cisl and Fabio Sanna of the Uil , who presented an appeal «to remedy the theft. This is just the beginning of the path that will continue solely and exclusively in the well-being of workers."

The unions then highlight «the continuous and unstoppable exodus of workers : health workers, nurses, technicians, and even doctors and head doctors, towards any other healthcare institution, as long as it is not Arnas. It seems that none of this matters to anyone. The fighting actions, also going outside the company walls, are not interrupted but continue, raising the bar both in terms of demands and interlocutors as well as the means used".
