"The Veterinary Services of the Department of Veterinary Prevention of Northern Sardinia, in a very short time and despite many difficulties, managed to achieve the objectives set out in the Regional Plan, demonstrating excellent professional and human qualities," the Commissioner emphasized.

Since the end of July , approximately 50,000 heads of cattle have been vaccinated on 1,647 farms, 88% of which are cattle and 92% of which are businesses , explain Giuseppe Bitti, head of the Veterinary Police Department, and Bastianina Mossa, infectious diseases coordinator for the Animal Health Service of the Local Health Authority (ASL) No. 1.
