« I have no doubts about that boy, I know for sure that he is suffering as much and as I am the father. It was a blatant gesture on the part of my daughter who, perhaps, didn't really want to go that far, I think the situation got out of hand ».

Speaking in an interview with "Messaggero" is Massimiliano, father of Giada Calanchini , the 22-year-old Roman girl who died yesterday after falling from the third floor in Bosa , from the terrace of the house of her ex-boyfriend Nicola Tanda, 25 .

Giada had moved to Sardinia two and a half years ago for love, but the story didn't go as she would have liked. At the end of an evening of celebration at the very popular Bosa Beer Fest, Giada and Nicola went to his house. An extreme attempt at reconciliation that failed: a heated discussion, she allegedly threatened suicide by approaching dangerously to the balcony, he allegedly tried in every way to block her, in vain. Then the flight of about ten meters that left her no way out: the injuries sustained were too serious, Giada Calanchini died at San Francesco di Nuoro after 12 hours of agony.

The tragedy, continues Giada's father, "is nobody's fault, maybe just us parents who weren't able to protect her. She did it out of love, she believed so much in this story, that's why she moved to Sardinia. Perhaps she was unable to accept that it was wrong and went to such lengths to impress him .'

What's left? "Just an immense pain", concludes the father, who took the ferry to Sardinia to see his Giada for the last time.

The Oristano Public Prosecutor's Office is investigating the case, having heard from Nicola Tanda and the other friends with whom the young woman spent the evening. The 25-year-old from Bosa is in shock , he was heard for a long time by the investigators as a person informed about the facts: he would have tried in every way to prevent the tragic leap into the void, even trying to cheer her up, so much so that parts were apparently found in his apartment of the clothes worn by Giada .

A tragedy that shocked a country in celebration. The Bosa Beer Fest stopped yesterday, for the entire morning and afternoon . «We never wanted to write a post like the one you are about to read. The serious mourning that has struck our city has shocked us and for this reason we have suspended the musical programming for the whole morning and early afternoon. In agreement with the local authorities, and to give an important sign of closeness to the family, the Bosa Beer Fest and our general public will stop to dedicate a moment of silence to this young woman who has passed away. on Facebook.

"It is a very sad fact for the whole community - commented the mayor Piero Casula - We are close to the family, today on the occasion of the celebration of April 25 we will remember the young woman ".

The autopsy will take care of writing the final word on the matter, the prosecutor has given the task to the coroner Roberto Demontis, who will perform the exam tomorrow morning at the Nuoro cemetery.
