A small drug market at home. But the business was shut down by the Carabinieri a few weeks ago, and the case ended up in court. Daniele Cossu, 19, pleaded guilty to a sentence of one year and six months, to be served with community service with the Speranzampetta association of Bosa.

The 19-year-old, assisted by lawyer Alessandro Campus, appeared before the judge of the Oristano Court today for the continuation of the fast-track trial.

The courtroom recalled that Friday evening in late May when some young people had gathered in the park in the town center. Then the Carabinieri raided the area, conducting routine checks until the drugs were discovered: several packages (which later turned out to be cocaine) hidden under a tree.

At that point, the Macomer company searched the homes of all the young men, but only in the home of Daniel Cossu, 19, did the Carabinieri find drugs: a kilo and a half of marijuana and five grams of cocaine. The young man (who last summer had stabbed his uncle with a spear, injuring him only slightly) was arrested. Today, Judge Serena Corrias accepted the plea bargain, agreed upon between the defense and prosecutor Daniela Caddeo.
