The year 2025 comes to a close in Bosa with the remarkable achievement of Mrs. Pietrina Pinna, who recently celebrated her 102nd birthday. Born in Bosa, over a century ago, the woman dedicated her life to family and work, raising eight children (five girls and three boys) with her husband, a baker. Her life was not without its share of sorrows, such as the untimely loss of a son at just 35, a loss that inevitably marked her life.

Despite the challenges, she always found the strength to carry on, caring for her family with dedication and managing the home with love and care. For the occasion, her home was filled with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all gathered to celebrate this important milestone. The birthday girl still appeared lively and enthusiastic, enjoying the company of her loved ones.

The mayor of Bosa, Alfonso Marras, who was unable to attend the celebration due to illness, will visit his fellow citizen in the coming days to congratulate her and offer her best wishes on behalf of all citizens. Pietrina Pinna is an example for the community and, above all, a source of hope for a long life for all.
