He was one of the protagonists of the rescue efforts after the Nasiriyah attack, capable of sharing his heart and soul with the reader. On Saturday, October 24th, at 7:00 PM, writer Gian Marco Carboni will present his three books—Nassiriya Andalucia and Return, Mater and the Nemesis of the Soul—in the presence of the Sassari Brigade at the Borutta multipurpose center.
The author will be joined by actress Antonella Uras, the evening's host, who will read excerpts from the trilogy. The event will include a surprise for the Sassari Brigade's leadership, which will be presented by Gian Marco Carboni himself and the mayor of Borutta, Silvano Arru. Colonel Andrea Tunno, commander of the 5th Engineer Regiment, will be present. "It's an honor to have Borutta receive the Silver Medal. We've been collaborating with him, not just culturally, for about six years, and we plan to continue doing so in the future. We'll be delighted to welcome anyone who doesn't want to miss the event, and it will certainly be an evening of sharing the most important values, under the banner of the historic Forza Paris!" said the mayor. Gian Marco Carboni is a surgeon specializing in Digestive System Surgery and Surgical Digestive Endoscopy. Born on November 30, 1974, he graduated at the age of twenty-four on October 4, 1999, and completed his specialization in October 2005 after gaining military experience as a medical officer with the 151st Mechanized Infantry Regiment of the Sassari Brigade.
