Bortigali, the poetry prize dedicated to Paolo Pillonca is underway

The poetry award in limba, "A pes de Santu Padre", restarts with the eighth edition, dedicated to the memory of Paolo Pillonca, writer, journalist and poet. The event is organized by the cultural association "Frinas", with the collaboration of the Municipality, the Pro Loco and the Corale Polifonica Bortigali.
The Frinas association therefore invites poets from all over the Island who are interested in participating , to send by registered mail or by email, by next April 28th. This year's event will have two sections.
Section A is reserved for poems in rhyme and blank verse, while section B is reserved for poems in rhyme to be adapted to polyphonic choral singing . The poems must not exceed 44 verses. The organization announces that you can participate in both sections, respecting the rules reported in the announcement. The poems that are sent by traditional mail, must be made in six copies, to the address "Premio Biennale di Poesia in Lingua Sarda, presso Giangavino Vasco, via Vittorio Emanuele III, 96/a 08012 a Bortigali".
All compositions must be anonymous, without any pseudonym . Those who wish to send their works by email, rather than by letter, must send the poems to vasco.g@hotmail.it. The jury will also select a poem that will be awarded the “Paolo Pillonca” trophy. For section A, cash prizes are provided for the first three classified and expense reimbursements for the mentioned poets. For section B, the first classified will not receive a cash prize and a plaque, while the second and third classified will receive an expense reimbursement, all offered by the Bortigali Polyphonic Choir, directed by the maestro Cinzia Falchi.
