Borore, a rare goshawk wounded by a volley of pellets: the Barracelli rescue him.

A rare goshawk, injured in the countryside near the town by a volley of hunting pellets, was rescued from the barracelli thanks to a citizen's tip-off.

This is a protected species. The bird of prey was rescued and taken into care by the Wild Animal Recovery Center (CRAS). It was then urgently transported to Siniscola, where it was hospitalized under the specialized care of the contracted veterinarian, Franco Zola.

The animal's injury presumably occurred yesterday, during the pre-opening of the hunting season. The bird of prey was found in the "Sa Fustinaga" area with a deep wound to its wing caused by gunshot wounds.

The Barracelli, coordinated by Captain Lussorio Trazzi, responded to the scene and immediately contacted the Nuoro Forestry Corps to initiate rescue protocols for protected wildlife. At the same time, the Carabinieri of the Borore station and the Macomer company were notified to begin investigations and local inquiries to identify those responsible.
