This morning, around 6:20 a.m., a massive fire broke out in a house on Via Nuoro , in Bonarcado . Firefighters from the Abbasanta detachment responded to the scene, alerted by the Operations Room of the Oristano Provincial Command, with the support of a fire truck sent from headquarters.
The flames kept crews busy for several hours: cleanup, clearing, and cooling operations are still ongoing. The area has been made safe, but the damage is extensive. The fire affected both floors of the house and caused part of the roof to collapse.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Law enforcement officers are also on site to conduct their investigations.
