Earlier this month, they set fire to the front door of the building housing the headquarters of a well-known local insurance company. Carabinieri officers from the Bolotana station, coordinated by the Ottana branch, as part of their efforts to monitor the local area and prevent and suppress crimes in general, identified and reported two young men from the village to the judicial authorities.
The fire apparently started after an argument, apparently over trivial matters, in the countryside outside the town.
According to the Carabinieri, the two young men set fire to the company's entrance door during the night.
As part of the investigation, a non-EU citizen was also caught illegally transporting waste in his truck. The police subsequently seized a large quantity of copper.
