Tragedy struck in the early hours of the morning between Quartucciu and Solanas, with a man dead and a woman seriously injured by a firearm between 5:30 and 6:00 a.m.

The man was hit in Quartucciu, while the woman—transported in serious condition to Brotzu—was found in the hamlet of Solanas.

The Carabinieri are on site to investigate and reconstruct the incident. Among the initial hypotheses is that the same person may have shot both men.
