A blackout in Seulo added insult to injury: the deployment of three generators failed to alleviate the disruption caused by the power outage throughout the town.

The snowfall on Thursday night caused the outages. The generators sent by Enel Distribuzione, 12 hours after the power outage, were not all refueled with diesel, so since 11:30 PM yesterday, the town has been torn between light and darkness. Meanwhile, business owners find it unacceptable that the power outage caused by snowfall at an altitude of 800 meters will not be restored within a reasonable time.

Patrizia Moi, hotel owner: "I'm tired. My hotel is full of guests with no heating. Enel should come and explain why we're in this situation."

Farmer Tonio Moi expressed similar indignation: "They're trying to fix the damage, but the truth is that Enel wants us in the Third World. For four years now, snow has regularly caused a blackout in Seulo."
