The traffic accident that occurred on Easter Monday morning, shortly before 9:00 a.m., along State Road 129, between Birori and Macomer, could have had tragic consequences. Two cars were involved, one of which went off the road. Two people were injured, but were immediately treated by 118 ambulances. Their injuries, however, are not serious.

That stretch of road remained blocked for about half an hour. The Macomer firefighters, a patrol car from the Nuoro traffic police unit, and officers from the Macomer police station responded to the scene, conducting investigations to determine any liability.
