Staff from the Berchidda Forestry Station found and rescued two women who had gotten lost during a hike to the Su Pisciale waterfall on the Rio Alinedu.
The alarm was raised at the Tempio Pausania Forestry Corps Operations Room by dialing the emergency number 1515, and the Berchidda Forestry patrols and the Sassari Fire Brigade were immediately alerted, who began the search.
The two women were found in the evening, before nightfall, thanks in part to the cooperation of a citizen who owned land in the area and was also well-versed in the area.
Rescued in good health, the two hikers were then accompanied to their car and were able to return home without any consequences.
