An accident and traffic were blocked this morning on state road 729, the Sassari-Olbia route, where a heavy vehicle lost part of its load along the carriageway heading towards Olbia.

The incident occurred at kilometer 47, in the Berchidda area. The stretch of road was temporarily closed to allow for the removal of debris and to secure the road. Traffic was diverted onto state highway 129 at kilometer 46.500, returning to the Sassari-Olbia highway at kilometer 51.

Anas staff and law enforcement officers intervened on site.
