Benedetta Parodi returns to Sardinia for "Cosa Bona e Bariesa." The journalist, writer, and television host, queen of Bake Off Italia, is the special guest of the fourth edition of the event dedicated to local culture and flavors, taking place this weekend in Bari Sardo.

On Saturday, starting at 6:30 pm in Piazza Nostra Signora del Monserrato, the queen of Bake Off Italia will compete in a special cooking show, creating two traditional Sardinian dishes: a first course with fregula and a dessert made with carasau bread , themed after this year's star of "Cosa Bona e Bariesa"—bread. "I'll make a mille-feuille of carasau bread brushed with butter and sugar and caramelized in the oven, filled with mascarpone cream and blueberries, a kind of sweet guttiau ," reveals Benedetta, ready to return to TV alongside her husband, journalist Fabio Caressa, at the helm of Love is Blind on Netflix.

The rich program of "Cosa Bona e Bariesa" 2025, organized by the Municipality of Bari Sardo with the support of the Sardinia Region and Sardegna Turismo, offers numerous other events and activities for tourists and residents, children and adults, in collaboration with local associations. Guided tours of the historic center, the heart of the event, and of archaeological sites, the local mill, and wheat farms, meetings with artisan bakers and a taste of traditional breads (pistoccu, moddissosu, pani pintau), bread-making workshops led by the women of the village, custodians of the most authentic knowledge, and traditional workshops dedicated to "Su Nenniri" and the "Croci di San Giovanni," ancestral symbols of good luck for the harvest.

And there will also be exhibitions and displays, folk group performances, traditional music featuring accordions and launeddas, and singing and dancing that will directly engage the audience. For an evocative journey through space and time to discover the customs, history, and culture of this magnificent corner of authentic Sardinia.
