House arrest with remote control via electronic bracelet, is the measure applied by the investigating judge of Tempio for the man (55 years old, from Olbia) accused of having attempted to ram his ex-partner's car on the Olbia Telti. According to the documents of the investigation (opened for the crimes of stalking and illegal possession of weapons) the person responsible for the violence intended to use acid, flammable liquids and knives, which he had with him in the car, to harm his ex.

The investigating judge, ordering the precautionary measure, clearly speaks of the will to kill that the person under investigation would have manifested several times, with unequivocal words and gestures. Before chasing the victim by car to a service station on the outskirts of Olbia (where the woman took refuge) the alleged stalker beat her with kicks and slaps.

The death threats, according to the investigations of the Carabinieri of the Nucleo Radiomobile of Olbia, had been continuous for days. The man allegedly set up “ambushes” for his ex-wife even in front of the barracks of the Territorial Department of the Carabinieri of the Gallura city. Assisted by the criminal lawyer Marco Petitta, the stalker declared to the investigating judge that the knives seized in his car were used “for mushroom picking”, while acid and flammable liquids “are necessary material for work in a body shop in Olbia”.
