Beach occupied overnight. Barracelli and the Forestry Department confiscated umbrellas and surfboards. Two people were fined . On the night of August 18-19, 2026, staff from the Trinità d'Agultu Forestry Station, with the assistance of the Barracellare Company of Badesi, carried out an extraordinary patrol on the Baia delle Mimose beach in Badesi.

During the operation, numerous pieces of beach equipment were found on the shore and used to reserve spaces. This was in violation of the provisions of Article 3 of the 2026 Beach Ordinance , which prohibits users of public beaches from occupying spaces with unused and unattended equipment, such as umbrellas, chairs, or tents, even at night.

To facilitate the recovery and transportation of the material, the Badesi Barracellare Company provided ATVs and trailers , which allowed them to operate efficiently along the beach and transfer the material to the storage area designated by the Municipality of Badesi. A total of 97 beach umbrellas, 109 deckchairs, 2 surfboards, 5 folding chairs, and various children's toys were removed. During the inspections, 2 administrative fines were also issued.
