A French girl on holiday in Ogliastra tripped on the Cala Mariolu pier and hit her head violently. It happened today, as soon as the tourist family landed on the environmental pearl of the Baunei coast.

The little girl was rescued by the 118 personnel who arranged for her to be transferred to Cala Gonone aboard the Circomare patrol boat on which her mother also boarded. Here she was loaded onto an ambulance which transported her to the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro for the investigation of the case.

The Circomare vehicle arrived in a few moments as it returned from an intervention carried out opposite the Palmasera beach, in Cala Gonone. The Coast Guard crew recovered some kids in difficulty on a pedal boat adrift due to worsening weather conditions in a matter of minutes.
