Regarding the critical issues reported by CISL at the Binaghi Hospital in Cagliari , the ASL specifies that the internal traffic restrictions were implemented for safety reasons. Furthermore, the dedicated path for people with disabilities remains accessible, while repairs to the wall affected by the recent collapse have already been arranged.

" The situations described have already been brought to the attention of the company ," a statement reads, "which promptly activated the relevant departments to carry out the necessary checks and identify the necessary interventions. A further inspection of the affected areas was carried out today to assess the condition of the sites, the precautionary measures adopted, and the critical issues reported, as well as to liaise with the relevant technical departments to define and implement the restoration measures."

Regarding the observations relating to the closure of the central access and the difficulties of access for the elderly, frail patients and citizens with disabilities, the company explains that «the currently delimited area concerns the central access route , characterised by the presence of steps and, therefore, not suitable for independent use by people with motor disabilities».

Regarding the buildings reported, the Local Health Authority (ASL) specifies that they are currently unused and not intended for healthcare or assistance purposes. "The relevant areas have been appropriately cordoned off and access has been restricted by adopting precautionary measures aimed at preventing exposure to potential risk situations."
