Bari Sardo: hunter at Brotzu stumbles with rifle over his shoulder and shoots himself in the foot

Hunting accident in the afternoon in the Bari Sardo countryside .

A 56-year-old man while walking back to his car after the batting accidentally injured his foot.

It happened at 16.30: the air ambulance intervened on the spot, which took the 56-year-old to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari. It's not life threatening .

According to an initial reconstruction, the man was walking with the rifle over his shoulder near the village slaughterhouse when he tripped . At that moment the shot went off and hit him in the foot.

The carabinieri of the Compagnia di Lanusei were also on site.
