Not even the rain stopped the technical rehearsals on the stage set up in Piazza Repubblica. Bari Sardo is preparing for the New Year's Eve concert, which will take place tonight, earlier than the traditional date of December 31st.

There's a specific reason for this choice: to avoid clashing with other concerts, such as the nearby one scheduled in Tortolì. The headliner for the Abbari Festival will be Federico Poggipollini. His career spans over thirty years. He was the guitarist for Litfiba and is a member of Ligabue's band.

Poggipollini won't be the only guest: the "Abbarì festival live music and show" lineup also includes performances by DJs Ellynora and Chicco Giuliani (Radio Deejay and M2o), who will entertain the audience late into the night; actress and comedian Alice De Andrè; and entomologist and writer Gianumberto Accinelli.

The event is organized by Ivan Mameli's administration, which received €111,000 from the Region. The total estimated cost of the event is €203,000, €103,000 of which will be paid by the entertainment agency, which is supported by commercial partners.
