A road accident occurred yesterday evening on the Ballao-San Vito state road , involving a head-on collision between a car and a motorcycle.

The worst off was the motorcycle driver, a Swiss woman who was taken to Brotzu Hospital in a 118 ambulance. Her condition is not life-threatening. The car driver was unharmed.

In addition to the emergency services, the Carabinieri of the San Vito Company's mobile radio unit also intervened on the scene and carried out the required investigations to reconstruct what happened and determine any responsibilities.
