New weather alert from the regional Civil Protection for today, until 9 pm, due to hydrogeological risk, after the bad weather that also characterized the weekend on the island.

In particular, the ordinary criticality alert (yellow alert) concerns the Tirso region , where significant rainfall could occur.

"In the presence of thunderstorms", reads the notice, "it is advisable to stay at home , if you are in a basement or on the ground floor, go up to the upper floors, limit car transfers to emergencies only, keep informed on the evolution of the phenomena, on the measures to adopt, on the procedures to follow indicated by the territorial civil protection structures; moreover, it is prohibited to cross flooded streams both on foot and by any means, to stop near bridges and banks of streams and/or rivers and to cross underpasses".
