Damage reports in Olbia the day after a violent storm, with strong gusts of wind, hit the city yesterday.

Flooded streets, uprooted poles and signs and felled trees also on the Cossiga seafront and inside the Fausto Noce urban park.

For security reasons, the mayor, Settimo Nizzi, is closing the city's green lung until September 11. With an ordinance signed today, the mayor is prohibiting, for three days, the use of the park also to restore and secure the area.
