A branch of a large pine tree fell near the public housing blocks between Via Matteotti and Via De Gasperi, and the president of the Environment Commission, Christian Mulas, asked for a survey of the greenery to be carried out to avoid dangerous situations.

"The branch fell near a building, in a stretch where children pass every day on their way to the soccer field. Fortunately, no one was hit, but the accident highlighted the urgency of timely maintenance of urban green spaces," says Mulas.

"In particular, a worrying situation is reported in via Sassari, where the trees are reaching dangerous heights, even surpassing the surrounding homes. The situation requires urgent intervention, before further accidents can occur."
