Rain in Sassari has forced the Municipality to postpone several events scheduled for the Cavalcata Sarda (Sardinian Carnival). Specifically, the Rites and Sounds of Sardinia show of traditional music and masks, scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, May 14th, in Monte d'Accoddi, and the Children's Cavalcade scheduled for Friday, May 15th, through the streets of the city center, have been cancelled. Both events will be rescheduled for the summer events program at a date to be determined.

The "Baptism of the Saddle" event on Friday the 15th, part of the two-day Caddhos festival, will also be canceled due to the impassability of the Pinna Racecourse. The inauguration of the identity promotion initiative "Traditions in Motion: Visions of Sardinia," in collaboration with the Sassari Chamber of Commerce, scheduled for Friday the 15th in Piazza Castello, has been postponed to Saturday the 16th at 10:00 a.m. The shirt-making workshop at the Bagella store, scheduled for Friday the 15th at 4:30 p.m., has been confirmed.

Meanwhile, on Videolina (channel 10 on digital terrestrial, channel 819 on Sky and Tivùsat, and online at www.videolina.it), a special episode of the program Bistimenta, hosted by Ambra Pintore and recorded in the previous days in Sassari, will be broadcast on Friday the 15th, starting at 9:00 PM. This will offer significant visibility and tourism promotion for the city and the exhibition venues: the Tavolara Pavilion, the Sanna Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum, the National Art Gallery, and the Giuseppe Duce Hall at the Palazzo Ducale.
