A 78-year-old woman from Cagliari was reported on the loose by the carabinieri of the Stampace station for aggravated theft.

Yesterday afternoon, the soldiers were called to the Rinascente where they ascertained that the woman had taken possession of various items of clothing for a total value of 494.95 euros, then passed the tills without paying.

The security staff intervened immediately.

The items, some of which had been damaged, were returned.
