Six transplants in two days: two livers, two kidneys, and two corneas. Good numbers emerge from 48 hours of activity at Brotzu, where teamwork between various teams has been impressive.

The liver transplants were performed by surgeons from Fausto Zamboni's team, the kidney transplants by Andrea Solinas's group, while the corneal transplants were performed by the team led by Massimo D'Atri.

A result achieved thanks to the work of surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, technicians, support staff, and logistics services.

"This result is the fruit of great teamwork and a solid, efficient organization," explains Arnas General Manager Maurizio Marcias, "which demonstrates the company's ability to respond professionally, competently, and promptly to highly complex clinical pathways. Our thanks go to all the teams involved and to all the staff who, with dedication and a spirit of collaboration, contribute every day to ensuring high-quality patient care."
