A 69-year-old resident of the town was arrested this morning by the Carabinieri of the local station in execution of a precautionary measure aggravated by the Criminal Section of the Court of Cagliari.

The man, already known to the police , was prohibited from approaching a 60-year-old woman, with the application of an electronic bracelet, as part of a proceeding for stalking.

According to what has emerged, the measure was triggered after the military discovered repeated violations by the suspect, who allegedly continued to engage in harassing behavior toward the injured party.

After the usual formalities, the 69-year-old was placed under house arrest again at his home, as ordered by the judicial authorities.
