Arzachena, illness on the path to the Principe beach: saved by the Alpine Rescue

The intervention of the Alpine and Speleological Rescue technicians for the recovery of a woman taken ill along the path that leads to the Principe beach, in the Punta Romazzino area, in the municipal area of Arzachena, ended at around 2.30pm.

The alarm came from the 118 Operations Center for the recovery of the woman, a fifty-year-old resident in Emilia Romagna who, due to illness, was unable to move independently.

After stabilizing her, the technicians of the Olbia station carried out the transport on a stretcher using the sedan chair technique to the ambulance of the Cooperativa sociale Soccorso Sardo, where she was taken care of by the 118 staff.
