Road accident during the night , around 2am, on the SS166 just before the crossroads towards Cannigione.

For reasons currently being investigated, a van powered by LPG, with only its driver at the wheel, went off the road and crashed into a low wall, overturning.

Firefighters responded immediately to secure the gas tank and remove the vehicle from the roadway. The driver sustained minor injuries.

Police and 118 personnel were also on site.
