Arsonists set off between San Gavino and Villacidro: flames threaten a home and a dog shelter.

Two fires broke out a short distance apart in the early afternoon in the countryside between San Gavino and Villacidro .

In the first case, in San Gavino , in the S'Arrideli area, a house is in danger: the flames reached the garden and engulfed a parked car. Ground teams from the Forestry Corps and a helicopter from the Villasalto base are responding to the scene.

About five kilometers away, another fire broke out, this time in the Cannamenda area of Villacidro . The flames engulfed a kennel. Several animals were rescued by the GAUF team of the Forestry Corps.

The fire managed to enter the perimeter of the landfill managed by the Villacidro industrial consortium. Two helicopters are responding, supported by a Superpuma helicopter.

A third fire has been reported in Pabillonis, and this time too, a helicopter was required.
