His left arm got stuck in the conveyor belt: a 28-year-old worker was transported in red code to Broztu aboard the emergency helicopter.

The accident at work occurred this morning in Serdiana in the plant of a company in the horticultural sector located along the State Road 387: the young man is seriously injured but conscious and, after initial checks, his life is not in danger.

To reconstruct the dynamics of the near tragedy, the Carabinieri of the Dolianova Station intervened, starting the first investigations in collaboration with the technicians of Spresal.

The military has acquired testimonies from colleagues and those present, also to verify the application of the regulations regarding the protection of workers' health. The investigations will now continue under the care of Spresal.
